Controversies Deleting his photo from Twitter

When the Indian cricket team was touring the West Indies in July 2016, KL Rahul took a day off and posted a picture of himself holding a beer bottle on Twitter. The picture went viral, but some BCCI officials didn’t like it because they thought it would set a poor example for cricket fans. Rahul quickly removed the image after the BCCI objected.

The Performance of KL Rahul in Domestic Cricket

While representing Karnataka in the Ranji Trophy match against Hyderabad, Rahul made his debut in the first class. Not till 2010 did he represent India in the ICC Under-19 Cricket World Cup. He scored 143 runs in six innings.

For the upcoming season, he was not included in the Karnataka roster. He did, however, return for the 2012–13 campaign. In 2013–14, he scored 1033 runs. Karnataka’s performance earned him the Ranji Trophy title. His 2013 Indian Premier League (IPL) performance also helped him get a spot with Royal Challengers Bangalore.

KL Rahul’s IPL Career

In 2014 and 2015, KL was unable to produce anything outstanding for Sunrisers Hyderabad. Ahead of the competition, he was moved to Royal Challengers Bangalore in 2016. Then, he scored 397 runs with an average of 44.11 during the IPL season. This season, he had a strike rate of 146. His efforts got the squad to the finals, where they were defeated by Sunrisers Hyderabad.
